My goal is simple: to help you find your path toward wellness by exploring what works best for you through comprehensive coaching on how your connection to self is a key to integrating wellness into your lifestyle. During our work together, we take deep dives into habits, patterns of behavior, regaining control over your routine, stress management, and self-care, while also helping you understand how these things work together to create lasting changes in your life.
I have been struggling with excess weight since my early teens, which continued well into my twenties and thirties. Having read and studied lots of material and research on nutrition and health, I discovered that this knowledge doesn’t make a single difference without a psychological component of creating behavioral change - a change that comes from a healthy place of caring for oneself.
I tried dieting and forcing myself into healthy habits more times than I care to remember - usually with short-term success; and before I knew it, I was back to a vicious cycle of emotional eating, binging, stress, and struggling with low energy.
For me, wellness happened through deep work that included reframing existing interpretations, understanding how our brain is wired and why we do the things we do, breaking through limiting beliefs, and getting the insight necessary to understand oneself and what stands behind the habits that don’t serve me. The knowledge I acquired through this work became the foundation of my coaching: to help others understand themselves and the forces that drive their behavior to achieve ultimate wellness. Most of us know how to lose weight; the difficulty is in doing it. I learned that approaching this problem with the mindset that created it in the first place will not lead to lasting changes.
My approach is holistic, meaning it takes all aspects of your lifestyle into consideration when developing a customized plan. This means that we won’t focus solely on one aspect of your well-being at a time but rather look holistically at everything that affects your health.
